Hello, I am using a Keil MCB2300 evaluation board with LPC2378 and Keil's =B5Vision3 IDE (evaluation). I want to send blocks of data via TCP/IP to another computer and vice versa receive data from that other computer. Just this, nothing else (regarding ethernet). Now, I know that the ethernet subject is a very complex one. I am looking for a simple solution that doesn't force me to dive...

hi, everyone, Is there a kind of MCU that includes at least one on-chip CAN transceiver(like LPC11c24), plus the following features? 32-bit ARM7 architecture, 128K flash, 16k SRAM, two SPI interfaces, RTC, UART, IAP, watchdog. It would be best if it contains one ethernet port, and be able to run uclinux. ------------------------------------

Hello everyone, Would an LPC2000 device be fast enough to act as a voip interface (i.e. ethernet in one end, one channel of audio in/out at the other)? All the VOIP software stacks I can find seem to based on Linux so I presume it would have to run uclinux. It doesn't have much other work to do so can be pretty much dedicated to this task. If anybody has had any experiences in this area it...

Hi, I'm regarding a project for a HMI + communications. I do not want to use BGA components and keep all on a two layer board, so the only single chip solution I found is the all-in-one LPC2478. Initial idea for GUI is uCLinux + Qt4, but can this ARM7 handle such a thing? I'm talking about QVGA or 480x272 screens and controlling ethernet, USB and RS232/RS485. Some advice?? Thanks, Oscar ...

At last! An ARM controller with all of the peripherals I need (with the possible exception of CAN). For the last 18 months I have been in search of the holy grail when it comes to ARM + peripherals... and it seems that NXP have finally found it for me. My research has shown that (previously) ARM9 processors by the likes of NXP, Cirrus Logic and Atmel all had one key component missing - suc...

But the PHY is sending 0xFF whenever i try to read the status register and for ID query, ID1 it gives 00 and ID2 it gives 0xFF. So.....its easy to say that its not working. Any ideas ? The connections on each pin are as follows : 1> Pin 1,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,20,21,38,42,45,46 ---

Hi group, I have a demo application here doing network IO over the ethernet mac that works like a charm with 10Mbit speed. However, if I hook the board up to 100Mbit, the best thing I can get to is a very much delayed processing of 100Mbit frames. It seems like the MAC gets the frames with a delay of several seconds only from the PHY. The funny thing is no frames are lost! They just a...

I have been having intermittent problems with an LPC2368 design in that the processor sometimes fails to start up when power is applied. There is an ethernet MAC on the same power plane that does start up (indicated by speed & activity LEDs), but on the 2368 my code does not run, and attempting to connect via JTAG fails. I have observed this on several different units, it is not particular
