I'm new to the chip evaluating if its SPI bus can be used for interfacing with some components. > From all the examples I've read on this forum, it seems everyone is running the SSEL line in GPIO mode and not the actual SSEL function. I wrote up a simple example with the LPC as the Master and the MOSI, SCK and SSEL connected to a scope. The Clock and the MOSI both look great, but the SSEL lin

I am looking for a small LPC device (64 or 48 pins) that has 3 or 4 UARTs. Look over at NXPs web site, I have found the LPC2468 with 4 UARTs but its in a 208 pin package. I am looking at collecting three serial data streams, parsing the data I need, then sending the new packet down the line for logging. Any suggestions ? don ------------------------------------

Hi, I have a problem with LPC 2148 (try to enable interrupts) and I don't understand something in the startup code. Here is header of cstartup.s (IAR) I don't understand how 0x18 from ldr pc,[pc,#0x18] is obtained. Hello all, I need more details on the \RSTOUT pin of the LPC2388. > From the user manual: "RSTOUT =97 This is a 3.3 V pin. LOW on this pin indicates LPC23xx being in Reset state." Is this pin an open-drain or push-pull output? I have seen a 10k pull-up resistor in some reference design... (i.e. LPC-2478STK and others) How does this pin work at power-up/down? My idea was to connect

For Bertrik or anybody else who's familiar with LPCUSB: is there flow control built into USB and/or LPCUSB? I know a device can return "NAK" to tell the host it can't accept/send data during a frame, so it seems like it would inherently handle buffer full, etc. I'm writing a USB bootloader for my Olimex LPC-H2148 board because it'll be installed in a system without an RS232 port. Dear All, I am looking for the freertos port for the MCB2300 with LPC2387. I tried with the version present in this group's (which was for MCB2300 with LPC2378) 'file' list but it didn't work. We are trying to evaluate if the LPC 2378 could fit our application and I would need your expertise on this: We would like to capture an external 4MHz signal clock. To do this we would configure the timer as counter. We would need to latch the counter value on an event from the capture input (frequency about 10 times lower than external clock) and this should generate an interrupt. My unders...

Haven't seen any mention of remote NDIS on the list so far. Has anyone implemented remote NDIS, perhaps on top of the lpcusb stack in conjunction with a TCP/IP stack like lwIP ? Could be quite handy for configuring LPC devices that have USB, but not Ethernet, using a webserver on a PC or Linux box without any special drivers needed at the PC end. Is this a hopeless dream on a flash device...

I'm trying to setup an SSP port as SPI to interface with a 4M SPI Flash memory chip, eg. M25P40. For a MEM write cycle, you must send 8 bit opcode, 24 bit adr, and 8 bit data. For a MEM read cycle, you send 8 bit opcode, 24 bit adr, and then read 8 bit data. How is this possible with the SSP/SPI setup of these LPC MCUs? They only have 1 reg setting for "data size", 4-16 bits. But th...

Hi, basically it *is* possible to do what you want, but it's not that easy as you might think. As you want to have the possibilty to exchange the *complete* flash data (that means not only an application area) and the LPC's can not write into the flash memory execting from you have to do as follows: You must write a so-called secondary bootloader, which is fully running in RAM (ima...

I have about 20 SD cards just about all from different vendors. However, some are OEM I expe...
