Hi, We've written a Windows 2000/XP based IDE (called ArmEd) which interfaces with the GNUARM toolchain & Insight debugger. It also uses OpenOCD to interface to the target JTAG port. You can create and configure projects very easily, then build, download & debug them. The IDE was developed for use with a LPC2214/FPGA development board but can be used with other LPC2xxx targets. An ...

Hi, I'm planning to use a LPC2138 and LPC2214 in a motor control system. As the motors being controlled are upwards of 50kW, it will not be easy to stop the processor and single step through code. Therefore I'm interested in the ETM trace feature of the LPC2xxx. Does anyone

Hello, I have a system using LPC2214 which has been working for around a year now. Recently I made some mods to the PCB (basically a change from predominantly Through Hole to SMT). Along the way the reset circuit got changed from passive R-C (56K Pullup) to active (LM3724 with 10K Pullup), and to save on assembly machine feeders the pullups on the JTAG were changed from 47K to 10K. ...

Hi, I'm using a LPC2214 & have connected the XCLK pin to a single input of another IC which needs to be sync'd with the CPU. I'm driving XCLK at 59MHz and I'm seeing an almost sinusoidal waveform ~2v pk-pk going between 0.5v & 2.5v which is very marginal. Is the XCLK pin capable of driving a 10pF input located 15mm away from the XCLK pin ? Thanks Dave Baker Yahoo! Groups Links

When trying to reduce the overall current draw in the power-down mode on an LPC2214 processor, we noticed some peculiar behavior on some of the port pins (P0.7, P0.14, and P0.20). The chip draws 230uA more current on the 3.3V supply per pin when any of these pins is tied h
