Hi There have been a few messages about this, but I can't find anything explicit so I thought I would ask a quick question. In an FIQ I need to transfer 15 bytes to an external device in less than 1uS. Is this possible? Unless I am completely off track (probable), it looks like it should be. The bus is 8-bit with no wait states

I have a project that was setup for a 5v AVR that I would like to convert to an LPC2294. Q1: Is it better to use a simple voltage divider on the GPIO Input (to get 3.3v) or should I leave it at 5v? (I know it says 5v "tolerant", but is it safer at 3.3v) Q2: On GPIO outputs, can I use a pullup to get 5v, or should I use a buffer, ULN2003, etc.? (again, I am concerned with re

I've got an Olimex E2294 board (LPC2294, not surprisingly) and I'd like to play around with an RTOS on it. For no particular reason I'm thinking maybe eCos or FreeRTOS. Does anybody have any recommendations regarding those, and any others? Ease of getting up and running is probably my main criteria, since I'm assuming that any RTOS will be about the same as any other for my needs. I will...

Hi, while investigating the max. FIQ latency on a LPC2294 (other LPC should be similar), I wrote following code which fits completly into the vector table and allows a total of 7 (or 5 with synchronisation with an RTOS or higher layer) instructions to be executed without a branch. It uses vectaddr14 and vectaddr15 of the VIC to store the Abort and
