Hello, did anybody ever try to run a 'fast mode plus' I2C device at a clock rate of 1MHz with LPC2xxx? As the protocol is identical to 'fast mode', I wonder if it can be used with LPC2468. I know that it is a feature with Cortex M3, but it is not mentioned in the LPC2468 manual. Any experience? Henry ------------------------------------

Hi Tom, The RTCK isn't strictly needed. Without the RTCK if the JTAG port works slowly, as is the case of the LPC2xxx, then the JTAG cable/debugger has to put in a delay before it samples the TDO. I'm surprised that companies are selling JTAG cables that require RTCK - the cynic in me says it's a way of getting repeat business. Michael

Anybody here ever seen (or done) an IAP flash programming app that re-loads flash with updated code that the end user downloads from their PC ? I would think one could do this without too much trouble on an LPC2XXX and might even fit into one sector. Un-encryption of the downloaded code would be a benefit as well so code copying wouldn't be so much of a pro

hi have u worked with MCP23S17 and LPC2xxx? wat the frequency does MCP23S17 work with the controller. Also can you tell me the initialisations required for MCP23S17? I am using LPC2148 and MCP23S17 through SPI1. I have set the frequency as 1 MHz. When I send the value 0xAA to the GPIOA port in a while loop, I get pulse on the SCLK signal as well as MOSI lines. But the MISO line remains low. ...

Hello... I am looking for a very simple RTOS, have tryed many (Keil, uCOS, IAR one) but no one is free, I only know FreeRTOS as being free but I found it really complex to understand (I spent several hours reading the samples and trying to port), so I am looking for a free RTOS system for LPC2xxx simple and light. What do you suggest? Thanks. ------------------------------------ ...

Hi all, I have borrowed a LauterBach Power Debugger to test it and maybe buy it. However, I can't get it to work. My other Jtag interfaces works fine on my target board, but the LauterBack keeps giving me the error "Debug Port failure". I have checked all connections from the lauterback to the target and it seems fine. The signals also seems correct. The lauterback starts sending 10-2...

I'm looking for a book which might be useful for someone interested in understanding / using assembly language for LPC2xxx (I'm not looking for a great deal of detail - I want to be able to recommend a book to people who are struggling to understanding assembly "startup" files as used with typical C programs and wish to explore this topic further). I've come across this recent book (fro...

I am configuring 2 buses one at 100KHz and the 2nd bus to faster DUARTs at 400KHz, but both are running effectively at 100KHz. Clock high period looks correct, but low period seems to force the overall period to be ~10uSec (???). Any ideas from anyone?, thanks. Hi: I seem to have a problem getting the JTAG to work on a new LPC1765 board design. I've done numerous LPC2XXX parts and never had a JTAG problem, but this is my first time with a LPC17XX. The TDO (pin 1) just seems to be stuck HI, never moves. I've tried PullUp or PullDn on the TCK and the rest have PullUp's. They are all 5K. The resets are both HI. The odd thing is the TDO has 2.2V...

Can anyone please explain the test settings for the ADC on the LPC2xxx? 00=Normal Mode - Ok, I know this one 01=Digital Test Mode - Does this mean that you set the output of the pin to be 1 or 0 and then read 0x3FF or 0x000 from the ADC? 10=DAC Test Mode - ? 11=Simple Conversion Test Mode - ? ARMwizard updated to version 2.0.1 What is new . Added support for LPC1751/52/54/56/58/59 You can download the new version from http://alexan.edaboard.eu I had to release v2.0.1 one day after v2.0 because I have added the LPC175x chips and I had to make a few changes in the application to work correctly with them (no capture registers are available in timer 2 and 3 in these chips)....
