Hello. I'm looking for a suitable way to protect the code on my lpc2103. The device is programmed using the jLink jtag interface. I Have read about the CRP protection, but confused about the use of it and the effectiveness against ROM boot loader and jTag interface. Can somebody hive me hints or link where to look at? Thanks in advance for help. Mauro Ansaloni

OK, I am confused. I'm using the Nohau LPC210x eval board and for some reason I can't set GPIO's P0.2 and P0.3 as high output. If I set IODIR = 0x0000000F and then IOSET = 0x0000000F I get IOPIN 0x00000003 (which is reflected on the external pins). PINSEL0

Hi, In the manual it says that the ETM pins (P0.22-P0.32) are active when DBGSEL and RTCK is high during RESET! I am reading page 72 and page 206 in the LPC210x manual from Oct. 02, 2003. Does this mean that P0.22 - P0.31 not can be used when using a JTAG

TRST (pin 47 on the LPC210x) *must* be tied high for the primary JTAG to work with a Wiggler or similar interface. This is how I have it connected, but I omitted to mention this on on my own web page and in my jtag.zip file in the group's Files area. If you have TRST on the

I finally have one of Leon's lpc210x proto boards assembled. The problem is the MAX3232 runs warm and seems to be drawing 150mA or so--it varies a bit. The lpc2106 runs at ambient and has detectable 10MHz on its clock pins. Removing the MAX3232 from the board causes it

Sigh, has anyone had any success setting breakpoints using a wiggler and GDB? I thought I had something but today I realized it doesn't actually set the breakpoints until it runs the code. Rather than using the LPC210X internal hardware breakpoints it want's to write to the flash and fa

I'm thinking of laying out a board for the LPC210x. I don't need much to get started, but if I'm going to put the effort into it, I may as well attempt to make it useful to other people. Features I'm thinking of: MMC slot (SPI) MCP23016 16 bit port expander (I2C, per

Hello, I try to get a PWM output on pin 0.8 with IAR, but had no luck yet. The Keil software has register like #define PWMLER (*((volatile unsigned long *) 0xE0014050)) which I can not find in the LPC2103 manual. The IAR I seem to be different. I was working on a project with a LPC2106 until I hit a snag. It seems that the 2101,2102,2103 have a complete External Interrupt setup (like the LPC213x), but the 2106 has a half-baked one. The User Manual on the 2106 does not have the EXTMODE and EXTPOLAR registers. The 2106 only has EXTINT and EXTWAKE. I was counting on the EXTMODE/EXTPOLAR to be able to detect rising edges so that I ca...

Can someone tell me if it is possible to program the lpc210x with the philips isp program if the chip is used with a RS485. The rs485 hardware forces the pc software to receive the data it sends. Maybe this may conflict with the behaviour of the isp software. Has someone done this before ? Johan

A long time ago Amontec gave me one of their Chameleon units to try with my LPC210x board. I couldn't get it to work. I thought I'd try it again with the latest software, but still can't get it to work in either Wiggler or Raven mode, even at very low speeds. A genuine Wiggler works fine, of course. Has anyone got the Chameleon to work with the Philips ARM chips?
