I start having fun with ARM. I at the stage of reading LPC2000 manuals. One from Hitex, others from http://semiconductors.philips.com. But I am still missing all registers description in a form register -> memory address -> meaning of all bits, like it's standard on TI products. Does anyone know the right link

Hello Everybody, I am new to LPC2000 series of ARM. Rather, I am new to 32 bit microcontrollers. I have been working with 8 bit controllers from Philips, Microchip, Freescale, etc. At present, I am working with Philips LPC2148 Microcontroller and need to develop the application in which I need to interface I2C EEPROM AT24C512. Does any one has the routine already developed for this such as readi...

My question is for Philips group. Some time ago on this forum was information, that Philips plans to start this year production of USB and then new CAM (LPC2139?) microcontrollers. Now I am finishing a design of a new module with the LPC2129 and want to make the PCB, if possible, to be compatible with the future CAM microcontroller. I examined the LPC2138 docume

Has anyone else seen this? I'm pretty much convinced that the reference to 'SRAM' in the philips LPC2000 family is not 'Static-RAM', but pseudo-static RAM. I'd tried to keep values in RAM between resets and the LPC2136 won't keep all of them. The RAM appears to be pattern sensitive as to what it is able to keep: fill 0x40000000-0x400001000 with 0xffffffff, 0x00000000, or 0x55aa55aa ...

I've just come across the Philips application note AN10438 "Philips LPC2000 CAN Driver", 02 March 2006. It describes "a project under KEIL uVision3, which is a live demo based on the LPC2000 CAN driver routines supplied as "C" source code." > From what I can see, the driver is much more complete than the AllCAN / FullCAN / BlinkyCAN examples available for download here. Hello to the group. I'll introduce myself as a hobbyist at this point (although we _are_ using one Armite on a quasi-regular basis at work). Leon Heller mentioned this group in a post in the sparkfun forum, and I see some posts here by rtstofer (thanks again for your help in the gnuarm forum Richard). Hello, For polled UART output, checking THRE (0x10) works on some variants but not others. For example, it appears that on LPC2148, you must check TDRE (0x20) instead. There is a Philips Technical Note, MACC05007, which gives a hint to this problem as: http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat_download/various/MACC05007_LPC2000_UART.pdf Sometimes users try to write b

Hello, I am working on some SPI routines on SSP port (lpc2148) and need some sanity check.
