Copyrighted or not, I don't think about using this code as my product code, but, it is pointed by the philips site as an sample code for their USB device. And to write my own code, I think that would be very usefull to be solid rock in the USB and device specific details. Since I don't want/ cannot buy an USB analyzer and the Philips manual is a little bit obscure, the best way is to ha

I recently switched development boards from the Olimex LPC2138 to the LPC2148. Now it seems that the standard Philips Flash Utility (ver. 2.2.0) that I was using for the LPC2138 does not include the LPC2148 in its supported devices list. What are you using to program the flash on the LPC2148? Is Lpc21isp the only free Win tool for flash programming on the LPC2148? Thanks, Paul

I was just trying to help track down some odd compare behaviour someone had seen using my serial ISP adaptor and I believe we've run into a bug in the latest version of the Philips ISP utility. It fails if a compare is asked for. The version that fails is the latest 2.2.0.

I just went to this seminar last week: http://www.em.avnet.com/evs/home/0,4582,CID%253D29838%2526CCD%253DUSA%2526SID%253DNoNav%2526DID% 253DDF2%2526LID%253D4744%2526BID%253DDF2%2526CTP%253DEVS,00.html It was very good. I strongly recommend this for anyone who's new to the Philips Arm devices. For the $99 fee, you'll also get a Keil MCB2140 board and a ULink USB JTAG debugging emulator (whi

Hi, I use the LPC2148 with Jlink IAR. I use debug flash in the IAR setup, so that when I unplug the JLINK the code is already flashed in the part. I tried to create a hex file in IAR using extra output in linker options, and Intel-extended format. It seemed to work, but when I use the Philips flash utility, the code seems to run a bit differently (display glitches sometimes P1.16-P1.23).

Is it required to cycle power on the MCB2130 board after flashing with the Philips flash utility and before a second flash attempt. It always seems to work the first time, but not the second without removing power first. I don't understand why because pin P0.14 is being pulled low correctly by DTR and P0.14 is pulled low correctly by RTS. Any thoughts?

Hi, I am in the process of writing a replacement for the Philips LPC2000 Flash Utility. Being a Python fan I'm naturally writing it in Python.
