Dear, How should I use the SPI port on an LPC2200 processor if I want to interface two or more peripherals on it? I thought that every slave peripheral should have a dedicated Chip Select signal, and the one for which CS is low would be allowed to talk/hear. BUT, there is only one SSEL signal per SPI bus on the LPC. Should I use GPIO pins to create a CS for each peripheral? Many than

I am not finding this anywhere in manual! What is the fastest possible SPI clock in "slave" mode on LPC2103? I know this is not a factor of the clock because it is slave but the manual doesn't say anythin about it. Also, would the UART be any faster that SPI. This one is also unknown! Assuming LPC2103 is 70Mhz and all clocks are runing at maximum speed. Thanks in advance Gus

Does anyone have any experience of driving a QVGA, i.e. 320x240 display by SPI? I'm thinking about using a LPC2478 because of the built-in display controller, but it might be easier if I could run the display via SPI so that the LCDVD pins can be freed up for other uses. If I run the numbers then I get 16 bits per pixel x 320 x 240 = 1,228,000 bits to write the whole screen. The shortest cl...

Just been looking at the flashless LPC range for a couple of projects & wondered why NXP didn't put an option in the bootloader to boot from an external SPI flash device and/or I2C EEPROM into SRAM- there would be plenty of code space to do it as the internal flash stuff wouldn't be needed, and could be a useful addition for apps that don't need a large program memory. SPI flash chips are...

Hi, people ... some time ago I see anyone using that was doing the MCI port using FATFS on LPC2378. Actually I have this file system work using SPI. SPI is working about 18MHz, and this time of 1.7us between any byte ...
