If I understand well LPC1768 and LPC2368 would be pin to pin compatible with minor differences as SD/MMC interface not present on LPC1768. But LPC2368 seems to have a normal USB slave interface and LPC1768 seems to have one USB OTG interface. So, is possible that USB interfac is similar to LPC2478? Is there a good application note starting point regarding hw design of USB OTG? ----------...

Our LPC2478 device acts as a USB mass storage device. As well as the USB host (Windows in this case) being able to read and write files on it, the device itself can also manipulate the files on the "USB drive". However if I delete or create files on the "USB drive" from the device rather than from Windows, Windows does not know about the changes until I unplug the USB and reconnect it. Does...

HiSpeed USB (480MHz) is very difficult to do on monolythic MCU. There are very few, and they are generally expensive. Entirely different process to handle those high analog and digital speeds. You are pretty much stuck with using an external USB device chip. Handling 40MB/s internal traffic is too fast for most MCUs as well. You really need a deticated chip for HiSpd USB eg. ISP1581/82. The ...

Hi: I have an USB enabled microcontroller project and my understanding is that if I want to distribute it, I have to get a vendor ID. From this page: http://www.usb.org/developers/vendor/ it looks like getting a vendor ID is quite expensive! I don't think I could even sell enough of my gizmos to pay for a quarter of the annual fee. Do you have to get a vendor ID to distribute your USB ...

Hi, We are developing a PDA device based on LPC2420 in which we have implemented USB to serial converter. Now we have requirement of putting the USB device in the suspend mode. However our USB bus never gets into the idle mode (it keeps on sending IN token on interrupt end point as well as bu...
