Hi, I am have v 8.33 with PicKit2 and I am learning the basics using the AMQRP groups Elmer-160 lesson set. I am really doing very basic stuff but when I want to reset and start stepping thru the code again... i reset the processor, clear all memory but sometimes MPLAB when I F7 single step through simple code (no typos) like : start org 0 loc1 equ H'20' movlw...

hi guys, my previous problem resolved.....i've had this problem in the past with norton system works corrupting mplab ide...does anybody know y it does this or how to stop it. the only way i've found to work is to delete then reload mplab, but this is tedious, but at the same time

Does anyone know how to use MPLAB to read the hex code out of a non code protected pic chip and then to save that to a hex file.
