I added a Multicast socket to my RCM3900 application, using IP 239.255.255.255. I have a total of 4 UDP sockets open, 3 are opened with an REMIP and Port of -1, and one is opened with the Multicast IP and port 2100. And Max UDP Buffers is set to 5. After boot-up, the first UDP datagram to the module is not responded to. It doesn't matter if the datagram was a broadcast or a multicast. The first...

I have an OLD design based on the TCP/IP demo board. It used the R2000 and the Realtek8019AS Ethernet chip. I am using the DC8.61 compiler. For YEARS customers have been running this without issue. Now one customer is demanding we switch to Full Duplex. I put the #define RT_FULLDUPLEX in the code but it has not switched to full duplex. We are monitoring the state by conn...

I believe I've finally resolved the multiple link recovery errors people have seen with ASIX.LIB in Dynamic C 9. I will be porting my changes to Dynamic C 10 soon, but would appreciate hearing feedback from DC 9 users. You can see the changes here, and download just ASIX.LIB if you want to do any testing: https://github.com/digidotcom/DCRabbit_9/commit/16126a371635a7c70b0587958e0873ee05cfca6b...

Group, Running a pretty complex program on a BL2100 (Smartcat). I know the virtual driver has the hitwd() function, but I have had several occasions where the system would lock and the watchdog timer would not generate a reset. Any way to control this manually, etc, so I have a better idea what the watchdog is doing. Thanks in advance, David
