Grant:  Surely this could be done with a while loop?  Goto's are so 1960.

you cannot figure out how to embed ASCII code in an FPGA, then you're 
missing out on some basics of FPGA coding that are vitally necessary 
before you can even begin to consider embedding pattern matching 
algorithms in an FPGA.
