I means industrial temperature spec, slightly better than standard (no I). E means automotive temperature spec, slightly better than I.

The /P means plastic DIP. On 28 pin parts, /SP means plastic skinny DIP (28 pins but 0.3" width).

section 'electrical specifications'.

What's the difference between a 16F676 i/p and a 16F676 e/p? Mouser and Digikey have both types and they appear to be the same, at least on the data sheets. Mouser has the one style (e/p) in stock but not the other.
Digikey doesn't carry the other parts I need so it isn't just a matter of where I order.
