That's a good idea Tim - I'll work on that in the coming months!
FreeRTOS has a port for this device already :o) Not in the official
distribution yet but I will try and put up a web page for it as soon as
I get a change.

It may not delve into the required level of detail (esp. if you're not
familiar with any of the Cortex-M devices), but there's an overview on
Wikipedia: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_Cortex-M>
The Cortex-M1 is an FPGA-embeddable soft core, and I guess ARM haven't
developed anything to fill the M2 slot yet.
