Hi Bob,
I was involved in a project where the electronic systems had a GSM
tri-band module inside.
I don't know if those modules will work in the US; make sure they are
tri-band and that the
1900 MHz frequency is supported. The 900 and 1800 MHz GSM frequencies
will not work in the US.
