thanks .
Actually I want to find out Baudrate of uart channels automatically.I got one document from net.In that they explaining the method for automatic calculation of baudrate of uart channels using timer.

I am attaching that document here.
I am using cosmic software for programming.

May I ask you where did you find this info about this special feature ?
I read data sheet and did not found anything about. More, looking
the connection diagrams for Freescale and examining pins list,
(Fig.4, page 10, rev.3.0.1)did not found any useful (for micro-controller)
output pins, except bi-directionals D0..D7 and interrupt...

did you read ECT manual? Everyone on this list knows ECT details. Use
Processor Expert that comes with CW. It will configure ECT for you.
