Oh, yes, I already found the datasheet. What I don't know is if this IC is in current production or not. I think it's an old product, so I'm finding a good alternative for a new project of a RFID reader.

I have an old RFID reader that is based on U2270B chip from Atmel 
(previously from TEMIC).

It seems any kind of info about this IC are disappeared on Atmel web 
site. There are only documents and info about RFID transponders, but not 
the readers.

Is Atmel producing this IC yet?  Is there a new modern device to use for 
RFID readers?
