Hi all,
I think Ill go for Sameer idea and start
desoldering, I dont have any of these Realtlk ISA
cards around, most of what I found in the junk are
3Com 3C509B ISA, they are using chip called parallel
tasking for ethernet control, checked the data sheet
of this card and found that it can work in 8-bit mode,
but unfortunately I couldnt obtain the pinout of the
chip,,,
I may try to reverse engineer the PCB, any one did
such thing before or has any idea about chip pinout?
else I'll start looking for secondhand Realtlk
cards,,,
Best wishes,
Hussain AlSayed

Dear Hussain,
It is difficult to order these chips as you know they
only supply in quantity. But you can get these chips on
old network cards.
I have done the same. I have desoldered no. of
RTL8019AS from old network cards from my junk. Then all
depends on luck.
If you are lucky you may also find one working chip
immediately.
