IMHO ulink clone is already present on the market and even advertised
on this group. Of course we are all interested in this if this action
will not trigger some legal action from Keil/ARM. So, you can reveal
all needed information and everyone will benefit from the low cost
debuger without buying the "original clone". For now, only the maker
of "the original clone" has benefits from it. Financial of course.
And ulink isn't the only hw debuger that has been cloned, modified and
sold as "original" even if you can build some of those hw debug tools
for couple of bucks.

Aha... IIRC newer ulink is equiped with other controller from other
manufacturer. Try to clone that if you can and we'll see if flash read
protection is working. told.

Hi

I wonder if someone attemted to clone the ulink ?
It seems to only contain some standard components ( 2x LVC244, 32K sram
,eeprom and Cypress AN2131 )
The eeprom can be read using the cypress tools (already done here).
I am playing with the idea to make some, maybe i will (is the some interrest
in this ?)
