The A series and E series are very nearly the same and it is my
understanding that Motorola obsoleted the A series sometime back due to the
overlap. It is very easy to upgrade to the E series parts. Somewhere on
the old Moto site was an application note that covered the process. Maybe
someone here remembers the publication number.

You are unlikely to find a data sheet for the A parts on the Moto/Freescale
web sites unless you look in the document archive section.

It is unlikely that there is a difference in memory size between the P and
FN suffixes.
