Do any of you also know what is the LCD model used on the Olimex LPC-
E2294 boards? Is it based on HD44780 controller IC?

Thank you.

Best wishes.

Hi all,

Many thanks for your various replies. I have attempted to use the
LCD example code from Olimex's website
(http://www.olimex.com/dev/lpc-e2214.html). I have converted it so
that it uses Keil's device library. Unfortunately, I am still unable
to see any characters being displayed on the LCD except for the
periodic flashing of the LCD backlight.

I am wondering if anyone else have come across this problem? Have
any of you actually got the LCD code from Olimex's website to work?
Just want to make sure that its me who's doing something wrong.

There must be a way to get the LCD to work because the Olimex boards
come with an LCD demo (on flash). Alas, I don't have the souce code
for that program! :-(

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Look in to file section, you will find two example code for K0108 and T6369.
These are for GCC.
