Some differences:
1. Segger embOS does not touch the FIQ, uC/OS-II does.

2. Segger embOS offers a free serial monitor tool (embOSView), Micrium
(uC/OS-View) is additional cost. I believe Micrium OEMs uC/OS-View from
Segger. Protocol differences between the two is very minor.

3. Micrium source code is available at no cost, Segger is additional
cost for source code.

4. Both offer a no charge plug-in for IAR's debugger C-Spy.

5. Segger embOS offers royalty free for product line, Micrium is per
product.
On the GUI side, it's the same software re-branded. Again I believe
Micrium OEMs their GUI offering from Segger.

IAR OEM's Segger embOS under the product name IAR PowerPac RTOS.

Both are high quality. Aside from the technical, the Segger embOS
source code licensing option is a very good value for multiple products.
