Hi,

You can use uart to communicate both.

Connect Rx & Tx pins of one uc to other.

Decide the baud rate yourself & also the protocol.

Thanks

hello guys

I am using two atmega 16 avr boards and I want to intercommunicate
between these two boards with the help of a transceiver.

So can any body tell me any cheap transceiver which can be easily
interfaced with the avr microcontroller and is easily available too.

Thank you

Hello guys

If you want a wireless transceiver you can use HM-TR module its a single, small
and chip module and have rang up to 300meter .
It use standard Usart serial TTL/RS232 level.
I work with it its very esay.

Good lock.

hi
Iused this module: HM-TR that have two model RS-232 andTTL.
RS-232 is used in PC and needed serial port for comunicate with AVR,TTL is used
in AVR.

The TWI (I2C) interface is built in and works pretty well. It depends on how far you want between the two controllers. All you need is two resistors and 4 wires connecting the controller. Plus it is a bus / network so you can connect many controllers together.

The RFM12B or RFM22B fir HopeRF are decent little modules that are
fairly easy to use and are widely available.
