I haven't used that chip but I just took a quick look at the data sheet
for
it from Analog Devices. It appears all the info you would need for setting
up and using the chip is there. There are also some application notes at
their website.
I usually write programs for devices like these by the "bit-banging" method
but they may have examples in C or other languages in some of their app
notes.
