All tools can use the TI FET on LPT for program/debug, including IAR.
Best is to use it on the standard 14 pin JTAG connector, other side on LPTx
You might have to adjust your LPT settings in BIOS if you have trouble ie.
ECP/EPP etc.
but it should work straight away. (IIRC I used ECP, long time ago)

I have made the ready made hardware of MSP430-JTAG which can be programmed

port. In the IAR, it is given in

So is this has been written only for TI USB FET or it is also for PC parallel
