you could do this :
1st, make a VB program that sends character to serial port.(set the mscomm setting, bla bla bla) you could read how tho do that in VB forums
2nd, get 3 wires and connect pin 2,3 and 5 of PC serial port to rabbit TXC,Rxc and Gnd. pin 2 to txc, pin 3 to Rxc and gnd to gnd.
3rd, make a program on DynaC that receives character from serial, and print the character received on STDIO dynaC window.
4th, on 1st computer, open VB program and at the same time connection from that PC already connected to microcontroller.
5th, on 2nd computer, a programming cable is attach from that computer to rabbit.
6th, load rabbit program and stdio window will appear.
7th, run VB program and send character A as an example
8th, A will appear at STDIO.
this is sending character from PC to rabbit.
