Hi,

these chips 2388 and LPC2378 are made, based on the same VHDL (or
Verilog) code. As the LPC2388 has only been introduced to the market
recently, the device must be based on the same database as the "Rev B"
of the LPC2378 and in all likelihood, the Erratas are identical.

So, I would bet that the following Erratas are still there but all the
others should be fixed:

Core.1
Incorrect update of the Abort Link register in Thumb state

CAN.1
Data overrun condition can lock the CAN controller

Deep Power Down.1
Deep Power Down mode is not functional

Cheers, Bob

Hi,

Actually we're developping a board with the lpc2378. We're using an
RTOS with ethernet, can , sd card, serial port, and all of thet eat a
lot of memory ...
I have just saw the LPC2388 with 32+8 KB more .
It's seems pin to pin compatible with the lpc2378 but can I expect the
same bugs than the lpc2378 (for the peripherals of lpc2378, so
excludinf dac and otg) ?
I really don't know if it's a good choice to use the lpc2388 for a pre
production status of our boards ?

thanks in advance.
