Yes, Davicom's stuff is hard to get

You can use Micrel's KS8721. They have 2V5 and 3V3 variants, as wel
as either commercial or industrial Temp. ranges. I don't know ho
easy is it to acquire in India, but in Mexico I've had no problems

The interface to the physical chip is MII or RMII, both are pretty standard. For RMII, Google gave a couple of thousands of hits. There should be more for MII. -- Tauno Voipio tauno voipio (at) iki fi

hi all,

Im using an AT91RM9200 chip nowadays and im starting to look at
building an ethernet interface . the chip needs to be used with a
physical layer transceiver . The AT91DK uses DM9161E , i cant seem to
get hold of that chip . is there any cheap , easily avaliable and easy
to use alternative .....by the way im in Delhi , India.
