Thanks Hugh,
I have it working on a desktop PC now - was initially trying on a
laptop with a single USB port. The laptop is running windows 2000
and I don't think the supplied USB driver supports Win2k. The
connection was being made between AP and EP but the back channel
UART was not working. I will try your sequence below as I'm not sure
I tried selecting the com port before plugging in the AP.
Many Thanks
Mark

Start by using the eZ430-RF2500 Sensor Monitor, and close anything
using the com port.
Before plugging in the AP, on the Sensor Monitor select
Menu->Settings->Port.Com6
(or whatever com port you know your USB has been allocated.)
Plug in the AP
On the Sensor Monitor Select
Menu->Connect
You should see a red balloon with a temperature value.
Now power-cycle each of the EPs. Each one should connect and add a
green balloon with a temperature value
Once you have these balloons up, on the Sensor Monitor select Menu->Console

Hi - Can anyone help!
Just bought one of these and having problems getting the demo working.
When I plug the AP into the USB I get no startup splash on com 6 (I am
looking using teraterm or the built in console) as described in the
user guide. The led on the AP flashes green / red. When the End Point
is then powered it flashes green about once per second. I then run the
monitor app but although it appears to connect to the com port I get
no EP shown on the display and no temp for the AP. My USB AP is shown
in the hardware profile for the PC under com/lpt as com6. I have tried
reloading the code using IAP but no change. Anyone have any ideas
please???

Anyone have any ideas
please???
