Take a look on the LPC2387 Erratasheet, page 12:
"Devices with a date code prior to 0836 (manufactured before week 36 in 2008)
have USB 2.0 full-speed dual port device with on-chip PHY and associated DMA
controller. Parts marked with date code 0836 or later have USB 2.0 full-speed
dual port device/host/OTG controller with on-chip PHY and associated DMA
controller."
So, today the LPC2387 has USB host controller.
