You might want to try using clrfu from Dynamic C 10.72. The GUI from that release can program Rabbit2000/3000 boards, so there’s a good chance the command-line version can as well. And it’s likely that version has better USB support.

Has anyone successfully programmed an R3k module using the clrfu and a USB adapter? The manual says using USB is an option, but I can't get it work. I usually get error, "Error reading bytes". I'm using the adapter that Z-World used to recommend. I think it's Tripp-lite.

I've tried 3-different USB adapters, and none work for programming.

The first was from Tripp-Lite. It uses the Prolific chip-set.
The second used the FTDI chip-set. Changing the latency to 1ms from 16ms had no effect.
The third is from ATEN. I don't know what chip-set it uses, but it didn't work either.

If it is an FTDI adapter like ZW sold, look at the driver advanced
settings. There should be a latency setting. Set it to 1ms and it should
work better.
