I have a PICMG board (ISA+PCI) that is currently strapped to a power
supply using duct tape and a protoboard with an ISA slot (giving it power).
Can I plug this card in to a traditional ISA slot to get power inside
another computer? I don't want them to communicate over ISA -- that
would be impossible. I just want power, and a stable platform to house
the PICMG card.
Is this possible?
Will it require certain signals are cut off so that they won't interfere
with each other. (I suppose I could do this using a paint over trick, or
worse cut the physical trace.) Which signals would I need to do this to?
