Norman I will apologize to you for you having to jump in but i will not to Marcus. At the risk of sounding childish "he started it" i would also like to apologize to the community here. Im sorry if i can get out of hand, just let me explain.

I am a hobbyist, as you should know by now. Life isnt easy for me like the rest of you. Trust me when i say that. I am always having to defend myself because some people just dont have the SMARTS to write anything in a nice way. Im sure i could rewrite everything in these post to where it led to a better conclusion.

Meaning... why could they just post like normal people? Once again i will stop all this garbage posting back, fighting but everyone here should really watch what they post if they dont want a response back.

You dont jump off a 20 story building and expect to live do you? so why post foul stuff and not expect foul back?

Anyway let me finish this :

SORRY LPC2000 ARM GROUP and all members except those... you know who...

Sorry LEON also... i wont lash out again... but some members here think they are GOD or something... its crazy...

Thanks Norman, and sorry you had to witness this all.

Hi Jason,

Sigh... I was in the process of writing a fairly lengthy post, but left for
dinner. Although it didn't really support your position, it was friendly and
well-meaning. I hoped to illustrate the advantages to your business of adopting
some of the strategies and ethics common to other members of this group. When I
came back I found this. I don't really feel I can put up my original post while
some of your most recent comments stand.

I recognize why you're feeling a bit defensive, but, please consider retracting
your stronger comments and apologizing for inviting Marcus to a fight. That's
just a bit too far outside the boundaries of what's considered acceptable
conduct in this community.

Thanks,
Norman

1. Too bad, you should have learned that with life experience.
2. Its my topic, so i have the right to disagree with any post in it.
3. I wish you was here to get mad and figure out if you want to hit me or not.
You better have hands of steel or the speed of a bullet otherwise your toast
buddy.
4. The original had nothing to do with wiggler hence i didnt actually post
anything worth arguing over. If you have a opinion fine... say it i would like
to read it. I have no problem with opinions, as long as its about the actual
post. If its has to do with giving me a bad name for something i that everyone
does then heh SHUSH! because i am not doing anything wrong from what i can see.
5. If you have a problem with me, im in NYC... if its that big just email me ill
send you my address, come talk to me face to face and if you still feel like
doing something about it because its so serious to you then be my guest.

Otherwise, please dont post crap on my topic. I dont do it to anyone and dont
like it done to me.

Thanks for your time.

First, I've never understood the reasoning behind this statement, yet I see ones like it all over the 'net.

Start with this idea:

Jason, at least be self consistent and practice what you preach. You don't like what Michael has to say, then...

Second, what you preach is simply ridiculous at best and downright rude at worst. Imagine that we are having a face to face conversation and you say something to me that I don't like or that I disagree with. What is the proper response? Should I punch you in the face and knock you out, AKA "delete"? Perhaps I should just ignore your statement, turn away and strike up a conversation with someone else in the room without any direct response? Both of these are entirely unreasonable given the concept of "conversation".

Try this on for size: if you can't stand to have someone disagree with you, then don't post!
You can politely stifle yourself without placing a burden on the rest of us.

Hey Michael, first off there are tons of wiggler clones! Stop complaining. $150 for a hobbyist is not a small amount of money. If it is then send me it. If you cant then shush!

Time and effort? prices go down all the time! if something cost $500 today in a year its bound to drop in price. Who said i work in this industry? because i have a online store? that doesnt mean im rich.

The wiggler isnt the only programming devices to get cloned. If there where no clones out there people wouldnt hack. if people didnt hack devices im sure we would have so many neat gadgets out there. So mind your own business. If you dont like what you read then skip to the next thing.

I've also got an Amontec Chameleon. That is a parallel port device
containing a CPLD, which can emulate many JTAG interfaces, including the
Wiggler.
