Chuck I'm not a whiz at shared memory but I know a whole bunch about the 6100 and a reasonable amount about VxWorks. Tell me what you've got and I'll let you know if it's beyond my capabilities. BTW -- who at Motorola?? Regards --

Anybody have any experience with the Motorola MVME-6100 singleboard
computer running vxWorks?

I have been porting an application, not written by me, from an older
MVME-167 processor to the MVME-6100. It has been a very long hard
climb... However I feel the end is near. The application involves
shared memory in the A32 space as well as the A16 space. My current
dilema is that the software does not react properly to bus errors, such
as if one of the slave VME cards is missing or is failing and does not
answer up.

If anyone has experience with this I can go into some hairy details,
and I mean hairy.

Thanks,

Chuck

P.S.
The wizards at vxWorks & Motorola I have been directed to are stumped...
