Think there're several from Dallas/Maxim.. for example DS1371 & DS1374
with I2C interface.

Not what you asked for but 1-wire device DS2415 does that ...

Look at www.farnell.com I seem to remember having found an I2C device that
did what you require (I usually use farnell to find such things because they
have a lot of crap in their inventory and its usually easier to find
something in a catalogue than searching through a billion hits on google)
