ESP32-C6 in ESP32 Family
The ESP32-C6 is a series of low-power, cost-effective SoCs from Espressif Systems built on a 32-bit RISC-V single-core processor. As the first Espressif SoC to support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) in the 2.4 GHz band, it also integrates Bluetooth 5 (LE) and IEEE 802.15.4 protocols like Zigbee and Thread. It is designed for secure, connected IoT devices that require high efficiency and Matter compatibility within smart home and industrial ecosystems.

Variants within the ESP32-C6 family are distinguished primarily by their packaging and integrated flash memory capacity, typically ranging from 4 MB to 8 MB. The WROOM series offers standard modules for general integration, while the MINI series provides a smaller footprint for space-constrained designs. Additionally, 'U' designated models (like the MINI-1U) feature a U.FL connector for external antennas, whereas standard models utilize an onboard PCB trace antenna.
