FM24V10 in Cypress / Infineon FM24 & FM25 FRAM Family
The FM24V10 family consists of 1-Mbit integrated circuit Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (F-RAM) devices manufactured by Infineon (formerly Cypress Semiconductor). These components utilize a non-volatile memory cell that operates similarly to RAM, providing fast writes at bus speed with virtually unlimited endurance. Operating over a 2.0V to 3.6V range, the FM24V10 is designed for systems requiring frequent, high-speed data logging where power consumption and data integrity are critical constraints.
Variants within the FM24V10 sub-family primarily differ based on their packaging options and temperature ratings. Standard versions are offered in 8-pin SOIC packages, while specific part numbers may designate industrial temperature ranges (-40°C to +85°C) or different shipping formats such as tape-and-reel (FM24V10-GTR) versus bulk tubes (FM24V10-G). Functional specifications regarding density and timing remain consistent across these physical variants.
