FT232RNL in FTDI FT232 / FT2232 Family
The FT232RNL family by Future Technology Devices International (FTDI) is a series of USB to serial UART interface integrated circuits designed to simplify USB implementation in legacy hardware. These devices manage the entire USB protocol on-chip, requiring no USB-specific firmware programming. By integrating an internal oscillator and EEPROM, the FT232RNL provides a compact, reliable bridge between a standard USB host and asynchronous serial interfaces, supporting data rates from 300 baud to 3 Mbaud.
