TXB0106 in TXS0108 / BSS138 Level Shifters Family
The TXB0106 is a 6-bit non-inverting bidirectional voltage-level translator produced by Texas Instruments. It features two independent configurable power-supply rails, allowing for seamless data transfer between systems operating at different logic levels from 1.2V to 3.6V on Port A and 1.65V to 5.5V on Port B. Unlike traditional level shifters, it uses an auto-direction sensing architecture, eliminating the need for a direction-control signal and simplifying PCB routing for multi-bit bus communication.
Variants in This Sub-Family
Comparing specs that differ across variants.
| Part Number | Output Type | Package | Stock |
|---|---|---|---|
| TXB0106 (Texas Instruments) | Tri-State, Non-Inv.. | TSSOP-16 | 13,286 |
| TXB0106QWBQBRQ1 (Texas Instruments) | Push-Pull, Tri-State | WFQFN-16 | 2,384 |
Variants within the TXB0106 sub-family primarily differ by their physical packaging and temperature grading. Common options include the thin shrink small-outline package (TSSOP) for standard through-hole compatibility and the ultra-thin quad flat no-lead (UQFN) for high-density mobile applications. Some variants are automotive-qualified (Q100), offering extended temperature ranges and more rigorous reliability testing for harsh environments, while all maintain the same core electrical performance specifications regarding propagation delay and drive strength.
