TXS0104EPWR in TXS0108 / BSS138 Level Shifters Family
The TXS0104E is a 4-bit bidirectional voltage-level translator manufactured by Texas Instruments. Designed for open-drain and push-pull applications, it uses a pass-gate architecture with integrated pull-up resistors to facilitate seamless data transfer between different logic-level domains, typically ranging from 1.2V to 3.6V on Port A and 1.65V to 5.5V on Port B. This eliminates the need for a direction-control signal, simplifying PCB routing and reducing firmware complexity in mixed-voltage systems.
Variants in This Sub-Family
Variants within the TXS family primarily differ in bit count and package type. While the TXS0104E provides four channels, the TXS0108E offers eight, catering to wider data buses like MMC. Package options range from standard TSSOP-14 to space-saving DSBGA and UQFN variants. Some sub-variants may also differ in their ESD protection ratings, with 'E' suffix parts typically offering higher human-body model protection for exposed I/O pins.
