LM339DR in LM339 / LM393 Comparators Family
The LM339DR family, primarily manufactured by Texas Instruments, consists of four independent precision voltage comparators designed to operate from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages. These industry-standard integrated circuits are essential for monitoring analog signals and converting them into digital logic levels. Featuring open-collector outputs, they allow for easy level shifting and wired-OR logic configurations, making them a fundamental building block in both industrial and consumer power management systems.
Variants in This Sub-Family
Variants within this sub-family are distinguished primarily by their operating temperature grades, ranging from commercial (0 to 70°C) to automotive-qualified (Q100) and extended industrial ranges (-40 to 125°C). While the LM339DR specifies the standard SOIC package, other variants like the LM339N offer through-hole PDIP options, and the LM339PWR provides a smaller TSSOP footprint for space-constrained designs. Precision-binned versions with tighter offset voltage tolerances are also available.
