The NEO-M8P series from u-blox is a family of high-precision GNSS modules integrating Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) technology into a compact 12.2 x 16.0 mm footprint. In contrast, the NEO-M8P-2 is a versatile variant capable of functioning as either a rover or a base station, generating its own RTCM 3.x correction data. While both share the same physical footprint and electrical characteristics, the NEO-M8P-2 provides the necessary logic for static or moving base station configurations.
