Ethernet PHY
Ethernet PHY controller ICs implement the physical-layer transceiver (10/100/1000BASE-T, SGMII, etc.) and connect MACs via MII/RMII/GMII/RGMII interfaces. They handle auto-negotiation, link training, MDIO management and often include cable diagnostics and clock/data recovery, making them essential for embedded routers, gateways and industrial Ethernet endpoints.
