SeeedGrove SCD41 CO2 Temperature and Humidity Sensor
Overview
The Grove SCD41 is an evaluation board featuring Sensirion photoacoustic CO2 sensing technology (PASens) integrated with temperature and humidity sensors. It provides highly accurate carbon dioxide measurements from 0 to 40,000 ppm over a wide supply voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V. The board simplifies prototyping by breaking out the I2C interface to a standard Grove connector for rapid development.
Why Choose This Part
The SCD41 utilizes photoacoustic sensing to achieve a compact footprint without sacrificing accuracy or measurement range. It features on-chip signal compensation and automatic self-calibration, significantly reducing long-term maintenance requirements for deployed sensor nodes.

Getting Started
Connect the board to any Grove-compatible microcontroller like a Seeeduino or Raspberry Pi with a Grove Base Hat. Use the SCD4x Arduino or Python libraries to communicate via the I2C interface and begin reading periodic measurements. For low-power applications, the sensor supports a single-shot measurement mode that draws as little as 0.36mA at 5V.
