Overview

The Grove Base HAT for Raspberry Pi is an expansion board that provides a modular ecosystem of connectors for rapid prototyping. It features an integrated STM32 MCU with an 8-channel 12-bit ADC, allowing Raspberry Pi users to interface with analog sensors that the Pi cannot natively read.

Why Choose This Part

This HAT eliminates the need for external ADC chips or complex level shifting when using analog components. It provides 15 Grove connectors including 3x I2C, 1x UART, 6x Digital, and 8x Analog ports, all controlled via an on-board MCU for reliable data acquisition.

Applications

Analog Sensor Integration
Using the 8-channel 12-bit ADC to interface analog light, sound, or moisture sensors with a Raspberry Pi.
Rapid Prototyping
Leveraging Grove connectors to quickly swap I2C, UART, and digital modules without breadboarding or soldering.
Educational Platforms
Building modular robotics or IoT projects where secure, polarized connections prevent wiring errors.
