Overview

The Pololu 2133 is a compact breakout board for the TI DRV8825 bipolar stepper motor driver. It supports a wide operating voltage range from 8.2V to 45V and can deliver up to 1.5A per phase without a heat sink.

Getting Started

Connect a 8.2V to 45V power supply to VMOT and GND, ensuring a large electrolytic capacitor is placed near the board to prevent LC voltage spikes. Interface the STEP and DIR pins with any 3.3V or 5V microcontroller, and adjust the current limit via the onboard trimmer while measuring VREF.
