Overview

The 30 PSI-D-HGRADE-MV is a high-grade differential pressure sensor from Amphenol All Sensors designed for precision measurements up to 30 PSI. This through-hole 6-SIP module utilizes a Wheatstone bridge architecture to provide a temperature-compensated millivolt output proportional to the pressure difference between its dual 0.19-inch ports.

Why Choose This Part

The H-GRADE designation ensures a tight accuracy of +/-0.5 percent and integrated temperature compensation for stable performance between 0C and 70C. Its millivolt output allows for custom signal conditioning stages tailored to specific application requirements while maintaining high resolution across the 0-30 PSI range.

Applications

HVAC Airflow Monitoring
Precise measurement of pressure drops across filters and heat exchangers to determine system efficiency.
Industrial Pneumatics
Differential pressure sensing in automated pneumatic lines where 30 PSI range is required.
Medical Ventilation
Monitoring air pressure and flow rates in respiratory assistance devices requiring high accuracy.
Process Control
Liquid or gas pressure monitoring in industrial environments using differential sensing techniques.

Getting Started

To interface with this sensor, use a precision instrumentation amplifier to scale the 0 mV to 90 mV output for an ADC. Connect a stable 12V DC excitation source to the bridge and ensure the pneumatic lines are securely attached to the 0.19-inch barbless ports. Using a 12-bit or higher ADC is recommended to maintain the accuracy provided by the H-GRADE specification.
