Overview

The MS4525DO-SS5AI100GP is a high-performance, 100 PSI vented gauge pressure sensor featuring a 14-bit digital I2C output. This temperature-compensated transducer is housed in an 8-DIP module with a side-port barbed fitting, designed for reliable PCB mounting in pneumatic and medical systems.

Why Choose This Part

This sensor offers a low total error band with +/-0.25% accuracy and is fully calibrated and temperature compensated over a range of -25C to +105C. The digital I2C interface simplifies integration with microcontrollers by eliminating the need for external signal conditioning or ADC circuitry.

Applications

Medical Instrumentation
Ideal for patient monitors and respiratory equipment where precise pneumatic pressure tracking is required.
Industrial Pneumatic Controls
Used in automated factory systems to monitor line pressure or detect blocked filters in airflow paths.
Environmental Monitoring
Suited for air movement controllers and HVAC systems to manage building pressure gradients.
Fire Suppression Systems
Monitors pressurized agent tanks to ensure readiness and detect slow leaks or discharge events.

Getting Started

To interface with this sensor, connect the SCL and SDA pins to your microcontroller's I2C bus using the default address 0x28. Supply the device with a stable 3.3V to 5.0V VDD and use the 14-bit output to calculate pressure based on the 10% to 90% transfer function specified in the datasheet.
