Adafruit QT Py SAMD21
Overview
The Adafruit QT Py is an ultra-compact ARM Cortex-M0+ development board featuring the ATSAMD21E18 microcontroller running at 48MHz. It utilizes a standardized Seeed Xiao footprint with castellated pads, allowing it to be used as either a breadboard-friendly module or a SMT component on a carrier board.
Why Choose This Part
This board provides a high-density IO layout with 11 GPIO pins, including 9 ADC and 9 PWM channels, in a tiny form factor. Its castellated pads and flat underside make it easy to integrate into custom PCB designs as a SMT module, while the 256KB Flash and 32KB RAM provide ample space for CircuitPython or Arduino sketches.
Applications
Getting Started
The board comes pre-loaded with the UF2 bootloader for easy drag-and-drop firmware updates; simply double-click the reset button to enter bootloader mode. It is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE (SAMD Board Manager) and CircuitPython, and includes a STEMMA QT connector for solderless peripheral expansion.
